Corporate Governance Training

The Kurdistan Institute of Directors-Iraq Provided a corporate governance training course in cooperation with Hiwa Foundation on 12-13 / 12 /2017 in Sulaimania which was presented by the IFC trainer Mr. Osama Ali Murad. The workshop was attended by sixteen people who participated from different companies including (Hiwa Investment, Hiwa Foundation, Fanoos Telecom, Ashur Brick, Dilnia Insurance, and Delta Cement).

Due to the continues crisis happening in Kurdistan Region and the recession that the markets are going through, the issue of corporate governance is highlighted for its importance and benefits to companies, ensuring the continuity of its activity and obtaining the confidence of international banks for the purpose of obtaining loans, as well as reducing administrative corruption and the regulatory environment in the company, thus increasing its productivity and profits.
